Succulents are the perfect dorm decor to give a little life to your room. My roommate and I LOVE succulents and currently have a collection of 13 of them. They all came in little clay pots, so we decided to get a little crafty and paint some of them, and I thought I’d show you a couple of my faves that I made.
I used acrylic paint and didn’t use a sealer because I plan on keeping them inside. If you plan on keeping your succulents outside, I would recommend applying a clear sealant after painting your planters.
I didn’t use washi tape or painter’s tape because I don’t mind the rough edges and didn’t do anything too complicated, but if you want to create something like a geometric pattern, I would recommend using tape to create cleaner lines.
This one is my favorite! I think the little face is just too cute! Also, it’s super simple and easy.
I loved the cute little face on the last planter so much that I just had to make another to match it!
I love the color palette on this one and it was also super simple!
If you now feel inspired to get yourself a couple succulents and decorate some planters, I definitely recommend checking out Pinterest if you need some inspiration for designs.
